oh… when was the last time i wrote an about page. uh.

my (supposed) name is ame — i’m twenty seven and sometimes my birthday falls on thanksgiving. i’m irrevocably queer in more ways than one and currently pulling myself by the bootstraps to re-remember html coding. i haven’t done this reliably since the 2010s, a time when everyone on tumblr was creating custom themes for their blogs. in a way, this brings me back to that! it’s comforting.

i enjoy writing. i’m trying to read more as an ode to my middle school self – a weird girl who sat alone with a percy jackson book every day. my favorite fruit is mango and i like savory food more than sweet. “average at most things” is what you’ll hear me say. nothing is quite my thing but i’ve got a lot of passion. drive is in short supply.

the internet has been my home for many, many years. i’ve been a chameleon in lots of online spaces, though nowadays i prefer to stick to what i know. as you've probably guessed by now, i enjoy sunflowers! they are my favorite flower.
